The IT Exec 2022 conference was held in Zalakoros between 02-03.06.2022, the theme of which was Data Economy. The topic is particularly topical, as there is no business that does not produce a fortune of data every year, which, if properly structured and analysed, could help them make better informed decisions and make their business more efficient, profitable and successful. IT leaders and business management have a shared challenge and responsibility to manage data assets so that they can become real, tangible assets: revenue, profit, market advantage.

Quattrosoft also participated in the round table discussion after lunch. Participants:

Sándor Mester said beforehand that the attic is full of miraculous solutions. However, we are very lucky to have new smart devices and software solutions in our everyday IT systems and meeting rooms that can even work wonders.

The discussion covered the following topics:

  1. What are the lessons from the presentations in the first chapter of the conference that you will definitely take home?
  2. The proliferation of smart devices is enabling larger structures (such as buildings) to become smarter. Looking deeper, what should we see as a result of such implemented projects?
  3. I had the opportunity a few years ago to visit the Axis headquarters in Lund and meet Martin Green, one of the founders of Axis. I was able to see the traces of a real Scandinavian company culture, very different from that of Far Eastern manufacturers. This difference, I think, is also reflected in the quality of the IP cameras. Why is it better for the customer to buy a quality camera than a cheaper one?
  4. Collaboration is the area of operation of the LSK Hungária business unit that you head. Where are you at in building the LSK ecosystem, how far have you got from large-format smart boards and what are your plans for the coming years?
  5. Hot topics - that's the title of our concluding chapter. What are the hot topics in IT at Allianz right now?
  6. Automation is mentioned among the miracle technologies and methods, but everything, even that, can be messed up if you really want to. How to do automation well and how not to do it?
  7. What are the hot topics in process digitalisation in large enterprises?
