The Association of Management Information Systems (VISZ) bid farewell to the year at a special venue, this time at the historic Károlyi-Csekonics Palace. The early December event offered a perfect opportunity for members to reflect on the past year's achievements in an impressive historical setting and collectively outline plans for the coming year.

The event began at 5 PM when guests arrived at the special venue. After a half-hour gathering, at 5:30 PM, participants had the opportunity to learn about the impressive history of the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace and view the architectural masterpieces of the building. The palace had been restored in recent years, allowing guests to admire the imposing spaces and elegant decorative elements restored to their original splendor. During the one-hour guided tour, guests gained insight into the rich history of the palace, learned about the lives of the building's former residents, and understood the palace's cultural significance.

After familiarizing themselves with the palace's history, at 6:30 PM, Róbert Fritsch, the President of VISZ, presented a report on the association's activities in 2024. The president summarized the year's most important events, projects, and professional achievements, and shared VISZ's 2025 plans and future goals with the members. This half-hour report provided an excellent opportunity for members to gain a comprehensive picture of the organization's operations and strategic directions.

At 7 PM, the more informal part of the event began, when participants could take part in an atmospheric dinner. During the dinner enjoyed in a pleasant environment, there was an opportunity to cultivate professional connections, engage in casual conversations, and discuss professional successes and challenges experienced during the year. This informal part of the event created an ideal opportunity for networking and strengthening personal relationships with colleagues in a year-end atmosphere that was both professional and social.

The event concluded at 9:30 PM, by which time participants had not only spent a pleasant evening in this special historical environment but had also strengthened their professional connections and learned first-hand about VISZ's past year's achievements and future plans.
